The Family Support Partners’ mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for parents/caregivers of LGBTQ+ youth. We are dedicated to fostering a community where parents/caregivers can connect, share experiences, and gain guidance as they support their children. Through compassionate support, education, and empowerment, we aim to enhance understanding and strengthen the bonds within families.
RESEARCH-BASED INFORMATION THAT WORKS!
Our family support is based on research from The Family Acceptance Project, a 20-year research project implemented by Dr. Caitlyn Ryan of San Francisco State University. Much of the research was conducted here in Monterey County, with families of varying backgrounds.
