Online classes as a response to COVID-19 lockdown are designed, delivered, and evaluated

P4P is first in the nation to offer The Parent Project, Loving Solutions, and the Strengthening Families Programs online

Step Up Mentoring continues online with the delivery of project kits to mentees by mentors

Three Independent Contractors have become full time with benefits to increase staff retention. All Full Time staff have benefits for the first time in the organization's history

To increase culturally relevant programs and funding throughout Monterey County, Monterey County Behavioral Health becomes a key partner. Bonterra becomes our database to ensure that all demographics, data, and evaluations are consistently captured

Due to the heart now foundation in the city of Soledad programming for step up mentoring and family classes increased throughout Soledad

Due to the work completed by the Wallace and Hartnell Foundations, the Step Up Mentoring program now has five program pillars. They are school success, community advocacy, financial literacy, career exploration, and social emotional learning

Step Up Mentoring continues in Soledad and Salinas and are embracing the five pillars

Rainbow Connections, a coalition of community based organizations, Monterey County Behavioral Health and other community partners deliver the Rainbow Connections program throughout Monterey County focusing on strengthening the communities understanding of LGBTQ+ youth, with the goals of stopping LGBTQ+ bullying and suicidology and creating opportunities for leadership development skills within the LGBTQ+ population. P4P proudly provides family support groups which give families tools to move from rejecting to supportive behaviors with their LGBTQ+ youth. P4P utilizes the family acceptance project materials and delivers the support groups 1 to 1 and in a group setting in English and Spanish

Thank you to Monterey County Office of Education! P4P opens a second office at the Salinas Community School. We have outgrown the space generously provided by the Monterey County Probation Department. We are grateful for the offices and meeting space and our collaborative partners at Silver Star Resource Center

Familia Adelante- and acculturation program for 1st and 2nd generation families begins planning to deliver 10 week classes throughout the county to give family tools on managing stress in a new country. Parents/Caregivers increase bonding and communication by having conversations with their youth that focuses on bonding and understanding the importance of retaining family values and religion while incorporating needed American customs

Rainbow Connections and Familia Adelante deliver their first support groups and classes and celebrate their first graduations

Greenfield mentoring is added to the Step Up Mentoring program which continues to serve Salinas and Soledad.

8 full time staff 14 part time staff and 134 formally facilitators (now known as family coaches) provide direct services to families in Salinas, Soledad, Greenfield, Gonzales, King City, Marina, Seaside, and soon North Monterey County

The P4P Board has been visionary throughout this 30 year journey for the organization and boast a 95% attendance rate and for meetings and committee meetings and give 100% to the organization in time, energy, dollars, and heart
